Cancellation, Refund and Delivery Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy explains how CricBidder packages are delivered, when you can cancel, and when you can get your money back. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions. CricBidder is operated by Shaheem M Shereef, trading as CricBidder, Shaas, Valavatty, Azhicode P.O., Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala 695564, India.
1. What you are buying
- A CricBidder package is a one-time, per-auction purchase. It unlocks one auction for up to the number of teams shown on the package.
- It is a digital service. Nothing physical is shipped.
- It is not a subscription and never renews automatically.
- The free game is free and involves no payment, so this policy does not apply to it.
2. Delivery
- You buy a package from the Payment tab of the auction you want to unlock, and pay through Razorpay.
- As soon as Razorpay confirms your payment to our servers, the auction is unlocked, usually within a few seconds and always within 30 minutes. You see the auction marked as paid, and we email a receipt to your registered email address.
- The package stays attached to that auction until the auction is completed. We do not currently set an expiry date.
- If your payment succeeded but the auction is still locked after 30 minutes, write to support@cricbidder.com with your Razorpay payment ID (it starts with "pay_"). We will unlock the auction or refund you in full.
3. Full refund: change of mind before the auction starts
You can cancel and get a 100% refund if both of these are true:
- you ask within 7 days of payment, and
- the auction has not been started. An auction counts as started once it has gone live, that is, once the first player has been presented for bidding, whether or not anyone has bid.
Opening the lobby, editing rules, adding teams and players or running the free game for practice do not count as starting the auction.
4. Refund when CricBidder fails
If the auction cannot be run or completed because of a fault on CricBidder's side (for example, our servers are down, or a bug stops the auction engine) and we cannot fix it during your event:
- we will first offer to help you resume, or to reschedule the auction on the same package at no extra cost; and
- if you prefer, or if rescheduling does not work for you, we refund the full amount you paid for that auction, even if the auction had started.
Please tell us within 7 days of the event, with the date, time and a short description. We check our system logs and audit records to confirm the fault.
5. When we cannot refund
We are sorry, but we cannot refund a package when:
- the auction has started and the problem is not caused by CricBidder, for example a poor internet connection, device or projector problems or a power cut at your venue, managers who could not join or did not know how to use the app, or rule settings you chose;
- you request a refund after the 7-day window in section 3 and the auction has not been affected by a CricBidder fault;
- your tournament is cancelled or postponed for reasons outside our control, such as weather, venue issues or a dispute among teams, once the 7-day window has passed. In this case write to us anyway: we can usually keep the package on the auction for your new date;
- you bought a larger package than you needed. Choose carefully: you can always upgrade later and pay only the difference, which is the cheaper option;
- the account was suspended for breaking our Terms, for example using the Platform for gambling or fraud.
6. Upgrades
- If your tournament grows, you can upgrade the same auction to a larger package and pay only the price difference.
- An upgrade is refundable under the same rules as the original package: before the auction starts and within 7 days of the upgrade payment, or when CricBidder is at fault.
- Downgrading to a smaller package does not give a partial refund.
7. Duplicate payments and failed payments
- Charged twice for the same auction? We refund the extra payment in full automatically. If you notice it before we do, write to us and we will speed it up.
- Payment failed but money was debited? This is usually held by your bank or UPI app and returned automatically within 5 to 7 business days. If Razorpay did capture the payment, we either unlock your auction or refund you in full.
8. How to request a refund
Email support@cricbidder.com from your registered email address with:
- the tournament and auction name,
- the Razorpay payment ID (starting with "pay_") or the receipt email,
- the reason for the request.
We reply within 1 business day and approve or decline the request within 3 business days, explaining our decision.
9. How refunds are paid
- Approved refunds are made through Razorpay to the original payment method only. We cannot refund to a different account, in cash, or as a bank transfer to a third party.
- Once we start the refund, it normally reaches you in 5 to 7 business days. UPI refunds are often faster; some banks take longer. Razorpay gives each refund a reference number that your bank can trace.
- We refund the amount you paid. We do not deduct payment gateway charges from refunds under this policy.
- Once a package is refunded it is withdrawn from that auction, and the auction may not be run on it. To run the auction later, buy a package again.
10. Chargebacks
If you have a problem with a payment, please contact us first: we usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. If a chargeback is raised for a payment we have already refunded, or for an auction that was run successfully, we will share the payment and auction records with Razorpay and your bank.
